Dulce + Tim

How We Met

The first time we met was at a party hosted by a mutual friend. After that, we kept running into each other: partly because we had a lot of friends in common, and partly because we went out of our way to go to events where we hoped we might see each other. After running in to each other a few times, Tim asked Dulce out to dinner. We started dating a few weeks after that, and we never looked back.

Long Distance

Shortly after our relationship began, Tim moved 45 minutes away. And for the next three years, we kept moving farther away from each other, little by little. At our peak, we lived three hours apart.

The Engagement

Tired of living hours apart, we finally decided to get married. Neither of us wanted to wait until 2019, and we didn’t want a winter wedding, so we opted to take the plunge as soon as possible.

The Big Day

After just six weeks of planning, we held an intimate ceremony in Tim’s parents’ beautiful home. It was a chilly day that we will always remember warmly in our hearts.

We are especially grateful to the following people who helped make our day wonderful:

  • The Wurzel family for making our reception look beautiful.
  • Brennan Sieck, our friend and officiant, who provided us with a heartwarming ceremony.
  • Frida De Santiago for translating to help include Dulce’s parents in the ceremony.
